Impressions @ Weightless by All Time Low, and Details on Relient K's concert at Wonderland!

I am so psyched. I am so psyched about 2 things: All Time Low's new album in July and Relient K's concert at Canada's Wonderland.

First order of business, All Time Low's new single "Weightless", from their upcoming album this July, "Nothing Personal" All Time Low (ATL for short) is well known for that pop-rock pop-punk sound, with energetic guitar riffs and extremely catchy choruses and hooks. Weightless has adhered to that formula well. It's not totally different from their previous songs and that's not a bad thing. It's still as catchy as hell and it is a lovable tune. It's the type of song you can just party to or drive down the highway with all your friends, doing memorable things that will help build your armada of happy memories. The only thing I would complain about, and it's probably being too nit-picky, is that they say the F-word one time, which is not such a big deal. It's just that bands like this typically don't swear in their songs and this song would have been great with or without the F-bomb. Then again, they swear A LOT on stage and they also treat the crowd like "trash". Don't think it's an offensive thing, they love joking around and they're just plain fun to watch perform on stage. The crowd loves 'em anyways.

Speaking of stage performances, one of their latest performances was in Bamboozle Left 2009. I saw a couple of videos on Youtube and their live performance was astounding, considering many bands of the same genre sing terrible live (People who always replace those high notes with lower notes or harmonies or they make the crowd sing that part instead. =/)

P.S. timeiswastingus AKA the person responsible for filming this, did an excellent job. From what the users have said, there were so many people that it was almost impossible to take a decent video. Some extreme cases included a busted lip. Oh the mosh pits!

Speaking of live performances, guess who's coming to Wonderland this summer?!!

Well you didn't have to guess because it's in my blog title: RELIENT K!!! They're performing along with some other bands that are not so popular, albeit Hawk Nelson.

I am stoked for their live performance in June. They are just f'ing awesome. I have to obtain some tickets, who wants to go??
